Our Name
Emergent means...
Growth
At its most basic, emergent means becoming prominent– a tree that stands out above the canopy. Our company is nascent, but growing, and we are hopeful about the future!
Urgency
In medicine, an emergent situation is urgent and requires immediate action to protect against threat. Our company specializes in solutions that respond to the affordable housing crisis in America, a situation we consider to be especially concerning.
Strength of Whole
In biology, a system is said to have emergent properties if its behavior cannot be understood or predicted simply by the properties of its individual parts. In essence, the whole of the system is greater than, and can achieve more than, its individual parts alone. Our company recognizes that real estate is a complex and multifaceted system, and we identify and rely upon a strong network of partners to effectuate more change than each of us could accomplish alone.
